Margaret Leitl

Margaret Leitl 75 of Park Falls, joined our Lord God in her home, surrounded by family on September 22, 2016. Margaret was born November 20, 1940 in Park Falls WI to Rudolph and Margaret (Koller) Hoefferle. She attended Woodland Echo School in Eisenstein and then Park Falls High School where she graduated in 1958. She married Donald Leitl on August 10, 1963 at St Anthony’s Catholic Church where she was an active member her entire life. She worked as a waitress at Hicks Landing and Johnny’s Golden Slipper before becoming a cook for the Park Falls School district in 1980 where she worked until she retired in 2001. Margaret enjoyed her garden, reading and spending time with her family. She volunteered at St Anthony’s school baking delicious desserts for students there. Margaret took care of many of the elderly members of her family, including her mother-in-law Louise and her father Rudy many aunts and uncles. Her life was centered around taking care of others a trait she has passed on to her family. Margaret is survived by her loving husband Don, of Park Falls, her children Ann (Jim) Oikari Fifield WI., Michelle (Steve) Elliott River Falls WI. , Daniel Leitl Park Falls WI. , David (Kim) Leitl Milwaukee WI. Eight grandchildren Heather (Jed Borsvold) Johnson, Elizabeth Bejcek, William Bejcek, Jesse Bejcek, Douglas (Missi) Leitl, Kaitlyn Leitl, Maxwell Elliott, Andrea Elliott, two great-grandchildren, Madison Johnson, Abigail Johnson. Her siblings, Rudy (Lucy) Hoefferle, Nancy (Roger) Moller, Shirley Bougard, Ron (Marie) Hoefferle, Fred (Pat) Hoefferle, and Gerry Hoefferle, Sister-in-Law Gerry Bolz. Also by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Margaret, her sister Elizabeth (Betty) Hoefferle, her brother Clarence Hoefferle, her daughter-in-law Melissa Leitl, Brother-in-Laws Chuck Bolz and Jerry Bougard, Sister-in-Law Deb Hoefferle. Memorial service will be held at 11:00am from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Park Falls on Saturday October 1, 2016. Deacon Chet Ball will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30am until the hour of the service. Miss me but let me go, for this is a journey we all must take and each must go alone it’s all part of the Master’s plan a step on the road to Home.
