Lorraine Louise Taft

Lorraine Louise Taft, Age 92, of Park Falls, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday March 20, 2019 at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls. She was born on August 26, 1926 in Park Falls, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Fenzl) Kundinger. Lorraine attended grade school at St. Anthony's and then graduated high school in Park Falls and on August 16, 1951 married Erwin F. “Jocko” Taft at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Park Falls. Lorraine was a homemaker and a lifelong member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting & crocheting, playing cards with her family, watching the Milwaukee Bucks, Polka music, and scratch-off lottery tickets. She most enjoyed her family, especially the daily visits and phone calls from her children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Erwin “Jocko”, (2)brothers: Raymond and Leonard Kundinger, (2)sisters: Betty Nessman and Delores Kundinger, (1)brother-in-law Louis Schwartz, and (2)sisters-in-law: Ila Kundinger and Lucy Nissen. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 23, 2019 at 11:00am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Park Falls. Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara will officiate. Burial will follow at Nola Cemetery in Park Falls. A visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9:30am until the hour of the service.
