William K. Brickheimer

November 5, 1945 - November 12, 2016

William K Brickheimer, 70, of Butternut passed away on November 12 at Flambeau Medical Center, Park Falls following a lingering illness. He was born December 5, 1945 in Marshfield, the son of Ken and Iris Brickheimer. In 1964 Bill graduated from Butternut High School. He was a long time employee of St. Croix Corporation and Flambeau Paper Company until after his retirement. He spent his later years working at Packerland Plus. While working at St. Croix Corporation Bill met the love of his life, Carol Singer. They were married on September 28, 1968 in Park Falls. Bill is survived by his wife, Carol, 3 sons, Bill of Eau Claire, Mike (Tina) of Gardner Kansas, and John (Angela) of Chippewa Falls, 6 grandchildren Alison, Cody and Aubree of Gardner Kansas and Adalynn, Chelsea and Matthew of Chippewa Falls, his father Kenneth of Park Falls, brother Jerry (Mary) of Marshfield, 2 sisters, Carol (Ken) Tomaier of Butternut and Joan (Steven) Holtan of Stoughton. He is further survived by several brothers- and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill’s great joys of life were spending time in the woods as well as hunting and fishing with his sons and brother. His most valuable time later in life was spent with and loving his grandchildren. A short Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm followed by Celebration of Life that will be held at the Butternut Catholic Church in Butternut on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 2-4. Casual attire is requested. Bill’s family would like to thank Flambeau Home Health and Hospice as well as the nurses at the Flambeau Medical Center. The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the Family
