Virginia May Christianson age 76, of Park Falls, died on Sunday December 6, 2015 at her home. She was born on December 14, 1938 in Phillips, the daughter of Andrew and Garnet (Briske) Smetak. Her early life and schooling were in Phillips where she gradated in 1956. On December 29, 1956 she married Miles Christianson in Park Falls. Virginia was a homemaker and worked as a cook for the Park Falls Public School System, at the Park Falls Public Library and at Marquip in Phillips. She was a former member of Faith Baptist Church in Park Falls and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother William Smetak, and grand daughter Saundra Stresnak. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 12, 2015 at 11:00am from the Evangelical Covenant Church in Park Falls. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until the hour of the service at the church. Interment will take place at a later date at Forest Home Cemetery in Fifield.
