Robert Quentin Glaeser

Robert Quentin Glaeser age 81, of Butternut, died on Saturday January 20, 2018 at Seasons of Life Hospice in Woodruff. He was born on July 8, 1936 in Park Falls, the son of Arthur and Minnie (Mader) Glaeser. After his schooling Robert entered the United States Army, He then was employed at the Flambeau Paper Mill where he worked for 41 years. On August 16, 1958 he married Geraldine Friday in Park Falls. He was a member of the Glidden VFW Post and enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and watching old Westerns on RFD TV. He especially enjoyed his pet dogs and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine of Butternut (5)children: Deborah Glaeser of Park Falls Kathleen (Al) Johnsen of Rothschild Brenda (Jerry Weidell) Glaeser of Lino Lakes, MN Melissa (Michael) Hill of Butternut Michael (Cathy Popovich) Glaeser of Ladysmith (9)grandchildren: Robert Joseph, Monica, Jessica, Megan, Tanya, Manda, Hannah, Daniel, and Gaven (11)great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard Glaeser, and two sisters: Mary Lou Schirmer and Dorothy Yates. A memorial service will be held and announced at a later date.
