Linda Lee Van Auken

Linda Lee Van Auken age 61, of Park Falls, died on Friday November 26, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center Weston. She was born on August 8, 1960 in Landstuhl, Germany, the daughter of Charles and Christina (Schnieder) Erickson. Linda was a graduate of Lincoln High School in 1978. Linda continued her schooling and earned an Associate Degree and then worked in Accounts Payable at Jacobus Energy in Milwaukee. Linda lived with Mike Scott in Milwaukee for 25 years. She returned to Park Falls in 2018 and worked in Hotel Management for Lake of the Torches Casino in Lac du Flambeau. She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her parents Charles and Chrstina Erickson of Park Falls, her brother Mike Erickson of Wausau, her sister Beverly (Ken Weindorfer) Lemke Park Falls, (2)nephews: Joshua Weindorfer of Park Falls and Joseph Lemke of Ironwood, MI, and many cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her former husband William Van Auken Jr. and her significant other, Mike Scott. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
