Lawrence M. Dezotell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Veteran) Lawrence M. Dezotell age 59 of Park Falls, passed away suddenly at his home on May 12, 2015. Larry was born on February 7, 1956 at his home in Butler, Wisconsin. The son of Joseph and Helen (Varelia) Dezotell. His early schooling was in the Milwaukee Catholic School system. He was a graduate of St. Laurence Seminary of Mt. Calvary, Wisconsin. He then served in the Marine Corp. which he later was honorably discharged. He moved to Park Falls in the early 70's. He worked at St. Croix, Resa's Grocery Store and the Park Falls IGA and Super One Food's until he had medical problems which disabled him in 1999. The last 16 years he has been under the care of Community Health Resources and legal guardian his sister Mary. Larry loved the Badgers, Brewers, Bucks, and the Packers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but fishing was his number one passion. Most of his spare time was spent at Patterson Lake, fishing for trout. He is survived by: His brother: Tom “Diz” Dezotell of Clam Lake His sister: Mary (Tom Schmidt) Dezotell of Park Falls (5)nieces and nephews: Robert, Jeremy, Shannah, Dustin, and Breanne. Sister-in-law: Lori Dezotell of Elroy, WI His Community Health Resource Family: Judy Bigelow, (Cargiver and Friend) and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his younger brother David. Funeral Services will be held on Friday May 22, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Park Falls. Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 21, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Novitzke Funeral Home and on Friday May 22, 2015 at 10:00 am until the hour of service at the church. Military rites will follow the service under the auspices of the Park Falls American Legion and VFW Posts. The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the Family
