Jean A. Olson

August 18, 1956 - February 6, 2021

Jean A. Olson Age 64, of Park Falls, died on Saturday February 6, 2021 with family by her side at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born on August 18, 1956 in Park Falls, the daughter of John and Carla (Kruse) Boettcher. Her early life and schooling were in Park Falls. On April 21, 1978 she married Bill Olson in Austin, Texas. The couple started their family and lived in Austin, Texas until returning to Park Falls in 1990. Jean worked for Bob’s Factory Outlet for over 20 years. Over those 20 years, Bob and Patty became more like family than friends. Her most favorite thing in the world to do was spending time with her grandsons, her “boys,” Jaxon and Jameson. They enjoyed doing anything and everything from playing games, going on adventures, doing crafts, reading together and snuggling. Another one of her favorite pastimes was riding her UTV, so cleverly named “Rexy-Hulk” by her boys, in the woods with her family. She will be sadly missed by many, but in true Jean fashion, had requested we all have a beer in her honor. She is survived by: Her husband Bill of Park Falls Children: Chris Olson of Park Falls Jeni (Justin) Wetzel of Eau Claire Grandsons “Her boys”: Jaxon and Jameson Her Father - John Boettcher of Park Falls Her Brother - David (Mary) Boettcher of Fifield Her Sister - Linda (Jon) Bukachek of Park Falls Along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Carla and her infant nephew Benjamin. A celebration of Jean’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jean’s memory to Catkin’s Animal Rescue, Inc. or Peace Lutheran Church of Park Falls.
