Edward "Pat" Lemoyen Gruber Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Edward L. “Pat” Gruber age 80 of Eisenstein, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in his home. He was born on August 21, 1935 in the Town of Eisenstein to Charlotte (Wardensky) and Edward Gruber Sr. On August 25, 1956 he married Tina Reas. Pat was a stock car driver (Lucky Lady 13). He worked as a logger, a truck-driver for Wocelka’s, a mechanic for Cam Motors. He was also employed by the Town of Lake and later retired from Flambeau Paper Mill. He loved to camp, wood carve, hunt, work in the woods, use his handmade sawmill and wood processor. He also enjoyed wood working and tinkering in his workshops. But most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Tina Gruber of Park Falls, three daughters: Linda (Jack) Bodoh of Park Falls, Brenda Striegel of Park Falls and Glenda (Steve) Wartgow of Butternut, seven grandchildren: Patience (Jamon) Lamers of Woodruff, John (Cindy) Bodoh of Park Falls, Adam (Andrew Hjermstad) Striegel of Minneapolis, Hannah (Tom Palacek) Koshak of Park Falls, Ashley (Kyle Coopman) Striegel of Eau Claire, Serenity (Kenneth) Thomas and Justin (Lauren) Koshak, three great-grandchildren: Elise Lamers, Hailey Bodoh and Maelle Lamers, one brother: William (Darla) Gruber of Park Falls and one sister: Judy (Jim) Pifher of Princeton, one sister-in-law: Bridgett (Thorp) Gruber, one step-sister Julie (Paul) Wagner. Also by his sister and brother-in-laws: Vi Dillon, Carol (Ron) Herbst, Kathy (Bernie) Kotke, Mona (Charles) Wasrud, Dawn (Rick) Buboltz, Chris (Mark) Moravec, Jean Reas, Roger (Sharon) Reas, Perry (Betty) Reas, Larry (Judy) Reas, John Reas, Lawrence Hilgart and along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is proceeded in death by his parents and his brothers: Gerald and Melvin (Mike), his step mother: Elaine “Tootie” Gruber, step sister: Lonna Behreandt, sister-in-laws: Joan Gruber, Rosemary Hilgart and Phyllis Reas and brother-in-laws: Jack Dillon and Doug Reas. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 16, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Park Falls, Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara will officiate. Visitation will be held at 10:00am until the hour of the service at the church. Burial will follow at Nola Cemetery. The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the Family
