Dorothy R. Lukjanowicz Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dorothy R. Lukjanowicz age 88, of Butternut, died on Thursday July 21, 2022, at her home. She was born on September 11, 1933, in Butternut, the daughter of John Sr. and Helen (Zielonka) Rybak. Her early life and schooling were in Butternut. After graduating high school, Dorothy moved to Chicago, where she met her husband Max. The couple were married on October 16, 1954, in Butternut. The couple then lived in Orland Park, IL where Dorothy worked for Andrew Corporation in the position of Supervisor, Sales Order Control. After retirement the couple moved to Butternut in 1993. Dorothy loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, especially at their summer cottage in Buchanan, Michigan. She is survived by her (3)children: Kay (Tim) Daly of Champaign, IL, Mary Ann (Wray) Miller of Kronenwetter, WI and David (Lynn) Lukjanowicz of Channahon, IL, (6)grandchildren: Eric, Brian, Bradley, Alison (Fred), Jake, and Jaclyn, (2)great-grandchildren: Max and Olivia, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Max in 2011, (4)sisters: Clara Polak, Frances Metzinger, Helen Smudde, Mary Pluckebaum, (4)brothers: Walter, Edward, Stanley, and John Rybak Jr., and (3)infant siblings. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Butternut on Wednesday July 27, 2022, at 10:00 am. Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara and Deacon Robert Schienbeck will co-officiate. Burial will follow at St. Cecelia Catholic Cemetery in Butternut. A visitation will be held on Tuesday at Birch Street Funeral Service in Park Falls from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Prayer Vigil at 7:00 pm; on Wednesday at the church from 9:00 am until the hour of the Funeral Mass.
