Veteran) David John Feest Sr. age 74 of Park Falls, died unexpectedly on Tuesday October 11, 2016 at his home. He was born on August 1, 1942 in Racine to Muilbert and Adelaide (Hegeman) Feest. His early life and schooling were in Racine, he then joined the Air force in 1959 until he was honorably discharged in 1963. He was a firefighter in Racine for 10 years. He moved to Butternut in 1977, where he owned and operated the DA’ Lucky 13 bar in Butternut. On July 25, 1992, he married Joann “Josie” LaPlant in Butternut. Over the years he was a school bus and truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage, watching the Packers and Brewers. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by: (3)Children: Marie (Mike) Preisinger of Colby David (Tamara) Feest Jr. of Tomahawk Jason (Leah Bucheger) Weinberger of Butternut (6)Grandchildren: Ryan (Shari) Preisinger of Colby Jena (Justin) Ellenbecker of Athens Hannah and Cole Feest of Tomahawk Conner and Jalyne Bucheger of Butternut (4)Great-Grandchildren: Remie, Isaac, Chase, Croix. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joann and (1)Brother: Visitation will be held on Friday October 21, 2016 at 1:30 pm at the Novitzke Funeral Home Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday October 21, 2016 at 2:30 pm at the Novizke Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Chet Ball will officiate. Burial will follow at Butternut Union Cemetery with Military Honors under the auspices of Park Falls American Legion and VFW Post. The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the Family
