Cynthia "Cyndi" Zach Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Cynthia “Cyndi” Zach age 64, passed away December 3, 2020 at her Butternut home. She was born November 28, 1956 in Georgetown, SC to Gerald and Lucy (Langston) Enter. Cyndi spent her childhood and youth in South Carolina, eventually moving to the Northwoods in 1987. Cyndi's devotion to others was demonstrated in her work with the Butternut School (health aide) as well as serving as the Ashland County Health Administrator for several years. Her dedication to hard work not only shined through her extensive gardening but also her tireless efforts to achieve her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Master's Degree in Public Health. Though she spent her career serving others, Cyndi loved to love her family and friends. First and foremost, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. In the spring of 1996, she met her friend and loving husband Kim Zach; the two were married March 28, 2002. She treasured her children (Shannyn, Matthew, Cassie) and especially loved her role as Grandma Sugar to Daynen, McKenzie, Liam, Jake, Lucy, and Hazel. Cyndi had a vivacious and infectious personality and was always quick to laugh at her family's antics. She found immense pleasure in her sibling trips with Gloria, Gerald, and David. Cyndi delighted in the annual family beach trip at Amelia Island, cross-country adventures with Kim, and countless cabin weekends and holidays spent with her children and grandchildren. Her true passion was her family and friendships, and all those who knew her felt lucky to receive her love.
