Theodore "Ted" L. Kronberger

Theodore L “Ted” Kronberger Theodore L (Ted) Kronberger age 85 of Park Falls passed away surrounded by his wife and family on Monday May 8, 2023, at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls. Ted was born September 07, 1937, to Frank X and Leona (Hilgart) Kronberger in Park Falls. Ted attended St Anthony’s grade school and graduated from Lincoln High School. On November 23, 1957, Ted married his best friend Marlene Wartgow. Ted and Marlene celebrated 65 years together. Ted has been a lifelong resident of Park Falls. Ted was employed by Frankie Glaeser in his auto mechanic shop before spending 42 years at Flambeau Paper. In Ted’s free time he loved spending time in the woods and helping out on his in-law’s farm, cutting trees and making firewood and caring for the cattle. Ted loved to travel and especially loved to camp with his boys and the 18 winters he spent in Arizona after retirement. Anyone who knows Ted, knows he was loving and kind man to his whole family and all his friends, especially his “Little Guy” Kaden Theodore Kronberger. Ted is survived by his wife of 65 years Marlene, (4) sons Mark (Eileen) of Phillips WI, David (Julie) of Anoka MN, John (Bonnie) of Eagle River AK, and Joseph (Kim) of San Diego CA. (7) Grandchildren, Marlene, Mark JR (Lindsie), Margaret, Amanda(John), Alicia, Aaron (Nicole), Brenden (Shena). (4) Great Grandchildren, Hunter, Holden, Kaden, Luna Ann. He is further survived by (3) Brothers Tom (Rosemary), Roland (Doris), and Peter (Diane). (3) Sisters in law Gloria Kronberger, Terri Wartgow, and Judith Wartgow. (2) Brothers in law Chuck Palmer and Tony (Shirley) Logan. And many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, (5) brothers Robert, William, Raymond, Frank JR and Donald and (3) sisters Margaret Packard, Dorothy Koch and Donna Palmer. (3) Brothers-in-law Kenneth, Charles and Edward Wartgow and (1) great grandson Corbin. A memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church on Tuesday May 16, 2023 at 11:00am. Rev. Samuel Morsching will officiate. A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
