Robert "Bob" C. Little

Robert “Bob” C. Little Jr. age 86 of Park Falls died on May 29, 2023 at Park Manor nursing home in Park Falls. He was born on December 10, 1936 in Park Falls, the son of Robert Sr. and Helen (Ketterl) Little. In 1955 he graduated from Park Falls High School and joined the U.S. Airforce where he served his country for 4 years. On September 3, 1960 he married the love of his life, Carol Ferkovich at St. Anthony’s Catholic church where he was a lifetime member. Bob was a devout Catholic who took his faith seriously. He assisted at Mass as an altar boy and as a greeter. He was District Deputy of the Knights of Columbus achieving 3rd and 4th degrees which earned he and Carol a trip to Rome where they met Pope John Paul II. In addition to serving his community through his faith, he was very active in area sports, coaching basketball, little league and playing on the city league well into his 40s. Bob loved watching all sports, especially the Cubs and Packers. He was employed at Flambeau River Papers for 40 years and was an avid outdoorsman who loved the Northwoods. He particularly enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Little of Park Falls, (4)children; Mark (Lynn) Little of Park Falls, Tim (Terry) Little of Menomonee Falls, Christine (Tom) Masterson of Bonaire, GA., Jeff (Anda) Little of Park Falls, (12)grandchildren; Alex (Leah), Keegan, Gail, Lauren (Jeff), Robert, Erin, Danielle (Adam), Tyler, Mitch (Emily), Lexi (Max), Trae, Raissa, (1)greatgrandchild, Elizabeth, (1)sister, Patricia Woodie of Park Falls, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, (4)siblings; Rich, Jean, Jim, and Bill. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am on Saturday June 3, 2023 at St. Anthony’s Catholic church in Park Falls. Fr. Shaji Pazukkathara will officiate, assisted by Deacon Chet Ball. Military Honors under the auspices of the Park Falls American Legion Post will follow.
