Kenneth William Busalacchi

Kenneth William Busalacchi age 77, of Montello, died Wednesday January 17, 2024, at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. He was born on December 16, 1946, in Milwaukee, the son of Peter F. and Bernice J. (Bopp) Busalacchi. His early life and schooling were in West Allis. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War on the Island of Guam. Ken worked for Graf’s Beverage, Harley Davidson, and Fulton Manufacturing Corporation until his retirement. He was a baseball coach, an active Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader for many years. His Scouts never forgot their time spent with him and treasure their fond memories to this day. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the casino, and spending time visiting with family & friends. He moved to Montello in 1996 where he enjoyed peaceful lake living. In his small town of Montello, he was loved by many neighbors and residents, who will feel the loss of his friendly presence. He embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength, generosity, an amazing personality, and kindness, that could be seen by his loving care for his deceased parents. His interaction with his children, grandchildren, nephews, and countless others will never be forgotten. He is survived by his (3)children: Giovannina “Jenny” (Fiancé Dennis Kukla), Ken, and Brian, (4)grandchildren: Breanna (Matt), Jason, Jonna, & Kyla, (3) beautiful great-grandsons, his cousin-”brother” Seb (Cassie), his estranged brother Peter (Nan), (3)nephews, Ken (Ellen), Pete (Maria), & Tom (Judy), his aunt Rose Vitrano, and many cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister-in-law Jan, niece Jennifer, and many aunts and uncles. A Requiem Mass will be offered at Birch Street Funeral Service Chapel in Park Falls on Friday January 26, 2024, at 2:00pm. Fr. Stephen McKenna will officiate. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00pm until the hour of the Mass. Military Honors under the auspices of the Park Falls American Legion Post will follow. A graveside service at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield along with a celebration of life will be announced in the spring.
