Gail Lois Andrews

Gail Lois Andrews, age 74 of Park Falls, was born to eternal life on Thursday August 18, 2016. She was born on November 29, 1941 to Roger and Muriel (Henneman) Martin. Her early life and schooling were in Park Falls. On September 17, 1960 she married Dewey L. Andrews at Peace Lutheran Church. Gail was a life-long member of Peace Lutheran Church. She was involved in all aspects of the church serving as an organist, a Sunday school and confirmation teacher, a member of LWML, the altar guild and loved to sing in the choir. She was a humble and faithful servant of the Lord. She was married to the love of her life, Dewey, for 41 years. They were the Junior prom king and queen together in 1959 at Lincoln High School. Together they raised six children and were blessed with 13 grandchildren and 3 great-granddaughters. They enjoyed dancing together and traveling out West in the "Country Squirrel" RV. She made the best potato salad and pancakes in the world. An avid reader, Gail started each morning with her Bible and a devotion and was content to sit at the table with a cup of coffee and just read. She loved to sew, garden, and lovingly put together beautiful family scrapbooks and photo albums. A lover of all God's creatures great and small, any animal that wondered into the yard had a home or at least a bowl of milk. She loved watching and feeding the beautiful birds that came to her feeders each day. Within the community, Gail was active with 4H, Bronco Buddies, and Girl Scouts serving as a troop leader for many years. She had a true love for working with children with special needs and was a devoted Special Education Aide for Park Falls Elementary School for 20 years. Gail is survived by six children: Robert (Dawn) Andrews of Boulder Junction, Joyce (Kurt) Rohrig of Stillwater, MN, Rebecca (John Reas) Andrews of Park Falls, Jennifer (Jim) Brown of Waukesha, Amy Eder of Saint Paul, MN, Susan (Mike) Cegielski of Mosinee, 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 sister Judy (Jack) Knepper of Boca Raton FL, 1 brother-in-law Frank Baroka of Park Falls, 1 sister-in-law Dorothy Doorn of Arbor Vitae, beloved niece, Charity (Tim) Schloer of Butternut and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dewey in 2001, an infant brother, and her sister, Janice Baroka. Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 22, 2016 at 10:30 am at Peace Lutheran Church in Park Falls. Rev. Dale Heinlein will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday August 22, 2016 at 9:00 am until the hour of service at the church. Burial will follow at Nola Cemetery The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the Family
