Elaine Florence Wagner

Elaine Florence (Storch) Wagner age 92, of Glidden, entered eternal life November 15, 2017 at 11:40 am at Mellen Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. Elaine was born August 5, 1925 in Glidden, to Richard and Martha (Thimm) Storch. She became a child of God on September 13, 1925. Elaine attended a one room schoolhouse in the township of Gordon through the 8 th grade. On November 28, 1945 she married Glenn H. Wagner. Together they had one child on November 28, 1946, Clifford Glenn Wagner. Elaine enjoyed many things throughout her life, playing cards with her family and friends, one of her favorites was Skip-Bo with her granddaughters. She had a great love for animals, of which she had many. Her favorite being her dogs and chickens. She was very active in her church, Trinity Lutheran Church in Glidden. She took her five grandchildren to church with her often. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, which she had no problem spoiling. They will miss her dearly. During her career of employment she worked for Bill and Darlene Krueger pruning and maintaining the nursery, planting, sheering and weeding the trees and making wreaths. She also worked for LP Mellen and cleaned for various people and businesses in the area. Elaine is survived by her: (5)grandchildren: Faith (Mike) Gwinn of Glidden Ted Wagner of Glidden Jessie (Scott) Heide of Edgar Christine (Lance) Bouyear of De Pere Erin Wagner of Glidden (11)great-grandchildren & (11) Great Great Grandchildren: Robert (Jessica Olwell) Petroski and daughters Bailey & Breanna of Medford Steven Petroski and children Nevaeh, Cindy, Cameron, Elliot of Park Falls Jordan Petroski and daughter Aubree of Topeka, Kansas Lindsey Bay and son Bryson of Weston Zachary Bay of Glidden Marissa (Kaly) Bay of Phillips Ashley (Isaiah) Wulf and children Connor, Skylar, and Jayce, of Glidden Nevada Ory of De Pere Jacob BeBeau of Glidden Sasha Bouyear of De Pere Antone Bouyear of De Pere She is also survived by three very loving nieces: Jane Gordon of Neenah, Carol (Ken) Sarnstrom of Mellen, WI and Dawn (Jack) BeBeau of Bessemer, MI, a special cousin Norman Thimm of Glidden and many other special family members and friends. Her loving dog Sporty. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glenn in 1979, her beloved son Clifford in 1986, (2)great-granddaughters: Breanna Elaine Petroski and Triniti Breanna BeBeau, her sister Mildred Storch, her brother Harold and his wife Helen Storch, her life long friend and confidant Shirley Lawver and her beloved daughter-in-law and friend Marlene Wagner-Trempe. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 25, 2017 at 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Glidden. Rev. Kenneth W. Lahners will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until the hour of the service. Burial at Mount Hope Cemetery in Glidden.
